In-going survey

The job involves :

  • Setting up an appointment between the landlord and the tenant of the property, before the tenant moves into the rented property
  • Recording the condition of the property in written and pictographic forms.
  • Taking meter reading for all the utility services ( gas, water, electricity, ect )
  • Providing an exhaustive typed report for both the landlord and the tenant within three weeks

The report is to provide extensive details of the property to ascertain the condition of it prior to the tenant moving in. This information can then be used for upun the tenant leaving to identify any damage caused during the tenancy.

The expert can act for both parties, his costs will then be split between the two parties, however the tenant or landlord may request their own expert.
